Rumbles halt Repsol

Just before noon on January 12, the residents of Fox Creek and St. Albert, Alta., might've felt the episode of light rumbling that had Repsol Oil & Gas shutting down its hydraulic fracking operations 30 kilometres west of Fox Creek. Repsol immediately stopped work in the area and reported the seismic event to the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) and other local authorities, according to a statementfrom the company.
