Roads in the U.K. are getting smarter, smoother and more sustainable. In its Road Investment Strategy, the U.K. government has built a long-term vision that sees, among other things, plug-in charging points being installed every 20 miles, which will help ease the "range anxiety" drivers of electric and hybrid cars experience when their power is running low.
