Canada commits to 30-by-30 plan to reduce GHG emissions

Canada has submitted its updated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions target in a submission to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The figures, unveiled in preparation for international climate talks in Paris at the end of the year, require emissions to be reduced 30 percent below 2005 levels by 2030.
