I don't think I'm exactly going out on a limb here, but it seems patently clear to any observer of the Canadian oil and gas industry that pipelines will be the big story in 2013. Whether west, south or east, the ability of producers to reach a diverse set of markets will be critical to the industry going forward, particularly now that its historical main market, the United States, is seeing rapid growth in its own crude oil production capabilities.
