Quebec may one day become the next great oil and gas jurisdiction in Canada, perhaps rivalling the success that's been earned in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia in the last two decades. Hopefully, when that day comes, they'll know as much about oil and gas as they do about hydroelectricity, the resource that's been at the forefront of Quebec energy development for much of the last half-century or so.
