With the addition of one now project, Saskatchewan is set to nearly double its wind-power capacity. Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp plans to build a 177-megawatt wind farm in the southern end of the province near Chaplin, Sask The company boat out 20 other companies that had submitted projects to SaskPower for approval as part of the government's Green Options Plan to expand production of wind power in the province.
