Reliable made an early entry into its core area of Kirkella, located on the Saskatchewan & Manitoba border in 2008, through an area wide farm-in and has strategically acquired an impressive land package of more than 106,000 acres (gross), 78,000 acres (net) of undeveloped land in the area. The Company, in total owns 98,000 net of undeveloped lands including its holdings in Alberta. Reliable chose Saskatchewan/Manitoba because of the light oil plays that exist not only in the Bakken but in other formations such as the Three Forks/Torquay and Lodgepole formations as well as the favourable royalty holidays, excellent infrastructure and the robust economics.
