It takes a pretty confident man to bring his vacuum cleaner on stage at the Wired magazine Disruptive by Design conference in New York City. That man was James Dyson, engineer and inventor extraordinaire. Dyson is, of course, the founder of Dyson Ltd., a British technology company that designs state-of-the-art vacuum cleaners (with balls), hand dryers, blade- less fans and room heaters.
