Anybody who thinks they can come out a winner by writing commentaries is somebody who came out hatched on the losing side of life. So why did I start writing commentaries? It wasn't to overcome my addiction to lotto tickets.Three reasons can be listed for my decision to take a deep dive into that often shallow pool of appreciation for columnists. Don't misconstrue. This old boy ain't looking for pity and won't wallow in Porky's pen of narcissism any longer thannecessary to provide the three reasons for my monthly endeavour.Dubbed "Rock Ramblings" by Oilweek's editorial staff, it is read primarily by my three reclusive, spinster aunts who steadfastly refuse to accept the possibilities of plastic surgery and stomach stapling.
