Still in tough

Forecasting is a tricky science. Typically there are so many opinions it's hard to know what to think. But for 2010, everyone seems to agree- it's going to be tough year. The Canadian Drilling Activity Forecast, released in early November 2009 by the Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC), forecasted a total of only 8,000 wells drilled (rig released) across Canada for 2010. This is in line with the final tally for 2009, which was also close to 8,000 wells drilled.
