The delicate state of bjofljei use in aviation fuel, caused by increasing worries over its financial viability, has not detracted from belief in its ability to cut global CO_2 emissions. Much progress has been made in the last two years on improving the quality of biofuels for aircraft so that they are more acceptable to the avi-ation industry, fuel producers and suppliers, as well as the regulators.
