High-pressure & temp scale inhibitors eval via automated system

摘要

Measure and evaluate oil production scale inhibitor performance under high pressure and high temperature conditions with Model 5400 Dynamic Scale Deposition Loop. The system simulates heated and pressurized oil production flow. It pumps precisely heated oil samples at known rates through a tubing test section while continuously measuring differential. An increase in differential pressure serves as an indication of scale formation. The test is complete once that differ- ential pressure reaches an adjustable thresh- old value.
