GasDry desiccants are declared in many natural gas dehydration applications — alternatives to TEG dehydrators. Instead of producing emissions that result from glycol dehydration, the fuel gas conditioning process using GasDry — allows water vapor to be absorbed by the des-iccant tablets. As they absorb water, they begin to dissolve. The dissolved water/tablet mixture is separated from the natural gas by gravity and exits the system as a liquid. This leaves only the purified natural gas. No emissions escape the system, it's said.
