Floating roof tanks made safer

Floating roof tanks (FRT) can be particularly vulnerable to lightning due to flamma-ble vapors present at the seal and the potential for the roof to become electrically isolated. Unlike shunts, the Retractable Grounding Assembly (RGA) provides a consistent electrical connection between the tank wall and roof and can be installed on new tanks or those already in service.
