Formally launched at Offshore Northern Seas is ICP: Intelligently Connected Pipe concept and technology. It allows its developer to deliver fatigue-resistant, lightweight, nonwelded steel risers. By machining the GMC mechanical connector directly onto 'upset' OCTG pipe joints —- all welding can be removed from a teel riser system.
