DIAB Sandwich Noise Enclosures lessen the noise source or the noise receivers like operators and assembly people. Sandwich and insulated steel construction quiets pumps, machinery, or other equipment - plus reduces weight from 9.3 to about 4.5tonnes. Total weight loss is said to be more than 18 tonnes for four enclosures.Tests of insulation through the structure indicate a noise reduction from 114 dB inside to far below 70 dB outside.
