BMG sale price reflects market: ROC

THE VALUE OF a 10% share in the Basker-Manta-Gummy project, the first FPSO development in the Gippsland Basin, has collapsed to just US$31.5 million (about $40 million) following a selldown in the project by new operator ROC Oil to Pertamina, the Indonesian national oil company. Last year ROC, which beat out ARC Energy and Nexus Energy to secure control of Anzon Australia, secured its 40% share of the project by paying about $525 million, however energy prices have collapsed since then.
