Clement brings different approach to ROC role

Winning the top job in a company is usually a cause for celebration, but in many ways there was little sense of jubilation when Bruce Clement took the boss's chair at one of Australia's largest oil companies. In fact, Clement got the job under some of the worst circumstances and at probably the worst possible time. Not only was ROC Oil Company in the midst of a takeover of UK-listed Anzon Energy and ASX-listed Anzon Australia, with the global financial crisis starting to break, but the company was still coming to grips with the loss of its founding chief executive, Dr John Doran.
