In assessing the viability of commercial supply arrangements for coal seam gas water, there are a number of issues to consider. The very nature of CSG production and the way in which the CSG water is extracted provides an inherent set of risks that need to be balanced against both the cost associated with its re-use (including the risks on finance) and the need for supply. This article will consider some of the issues that require consideration.
