摘要

6-Methyluracil sodium salt reacts with l,3-bis(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl)-6-methyluracils in DMF,yielding products of alkylation at the nitrogen atom in position 3 of the uracil ring.Derivatives of 2,4-dioxo-l,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimi-dine(uracil)in which the heterocyclic fragments are linked through a hydrocarbon bridge attract interest not only as immunotropic and antiphlogistic agents but also as model compounds for studying interactions between pyrimidine bases in nucleic acids.
