With the development of green chemistry, supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) was used as a replacement medium for conventional organic solvents because it is inexpensive, nontoxic, non-flammable, and has moderate critical conditions (T_c 31.1°C, P_c 7.38 MPa) [1]. It also has advantages for chemical reactions, such as adjusting the solvent properties of scCO2 and separating products from scCO2 by controlling the pressure and temperature [2]. Herein, several research groups have independently reported some catalytic asymmetric reactions in scCO2 [3-8].
