In January 2010, monthly spot freight rates for petroleum products (for tanker size 30-35 thousand dwt), leaving Middle Eastern ports to the East increased by 22.6% (28 points) to 152 points on WS.Freight rates across Mediterranean and Med/Noith-West Europe for tanker size 30-35 thousand dwt, went up by 78 points each (53.4% and 50.0%) to 224 points and 234 points on WS respectively.
