In July 2010, monthly spot freight rates for petroleum products (for tanker size 30-35 thousand dwt), leaving Middle Eastern ports to the East slightly increased by 0.8% (one point) to 126 points on WS. Freight rates across Mediterranean and Med/North-West Europe for tanker size 30-35 thousand dwt, jumped by 69 points each (44.2% and 41.6%) to 225 points and 235 points on WS respectively.
