The average spot price of natural gas at the Henry Hub in April 2011 went up by 5.0% or $0.2/ million British Thermal Units (BTU) from the previous month, to stand at $4.2/million BTU. The comparison, shown in table (4), between natural gas prices and those of the WTI crude and low sulfur fuel oil reveals differentials of $14.7/ million BTU in favor of WTI crude and $ 15.4/ million BTU in favor of low sulfur fuel oil.
