GCC Petroleum Media Forum Realities and Aspirations

In a statement delivered at the opening ceremony by His Excellency Mr. Hani Hussein, he emphasized the importance of activating the role of the petroleum media at the GCC countries level for advocating petroleum policies and interests, and to highlight their role in stabilizing global oil markets. He also expressed hope that the forum will boost the voluntary contributions to international efforts in the province of the environment and to stress its keenness on supporting development projects in the poor developing countries. His Excellency highlighted the petroleum media activities carried out by the petroleum sector in Kuwait, labeling the Forum as a new era of cooperation and joint action among the GCC countries in the petroleum media.
