Ranking of NR producing countries, 2014

As discussed earlier, world NR output declined last year. The decline was not a surprise when five out of the top six largest producing countries, namely Thailand, Indonesia, China, India and Malaysia, show a decline in their output (table 4). Only the production in Vietnam, the third largest producing country, increased marginally in 2014. To round up the top ten, the next four largest producing countries are Cote d' Ivoire, Brazil, Myanmar and the Philippines.
