摘要

Ever wonder just how generousyour employer is when it comesto contributing to your pensionscheme? The answer might depend on where you live. If you are a Polishworker, then, you are probably paying99% of total contributions, which isthe highest in the OECD area. Turkey'sworkers contribute a little less, with97% of the total. In Portugal, on theother hand, employee contributionsaccount for 14% of the total, whileworkers in Norway pay in just 4% topersonal pension plans. In recentyears, employers' contributions todefined benefit plans—those pensionplans that are linked to salaries—havegrown, largely in an effort to reducegaps in funding to cover growingbenefit payments in light of populationageing.
