Natural and technogenic factors of natural radioactivity in soils of Central Russia.

An assessment of the spatial regularities of the distribution of radionuclides (232Th, 226Ra and 40K) in soil is given for the example of one of the regions of Central Russia. The level of their accumulation typical for various pedogenic regimes is determined. The role of pedogenic processes and technogenesis in the formation of the natural radiation background of the territory is examined.
