摘要

We present some data on conditions for vapor phase initiation in a fluid flow. The equations of conservation are written in the two-dimensional formulation and are considered jointly with the equations that characterize the turbulent fluid flow. As applied to the case of adiabatic flows of water, nitrogen, and methane in the nozzles, we determined the flow regions where the critical nuclei bubbles can be generated in the metastable fluid. We also obtained an adequate agreement between the results of calculating the vaporization front configuration and the experimental data.
