TCSL sale stuck over land dispute in Bengal

The Centre's decision to sell state-owned Tyre Corporation of India (TCIL) is stuck, with the West Bengal government cancelling the lease for the land belonging to the company. The process of outright sale of TCIL, according to sources, has hit a roadblock after the state government cancelled land lease of the company in Kalyani because the units there did not produce any goods for the past several years.
