KUMZ ALUMINUM PLANT INCREASES SALES 23 PERCENT IN 2007

Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant (KUMZ), Russia's second biggest aluminum fabrication plant, increased sales of commercial products by 23 percent in 2007, with exports growing by 7.2 percent, the company reported on January 15. KUMZ deputy head of public relations Alexander Kotlov told Interfax that these were preliminary figures and that the final results would be released by the end of January.
