SEVERSTAL COULD RAISE 900 MILLION DOLLARS BRIDGE LOAN FOR ESMARK BUY

MOSCOW. (Interfax) - Russia's Severstal intends to raise a bridge loan of 900 million dollars to fund the acquisition of Esmark Inc, the U.S. steel producer said on June 7. Severstal has offered 17 dollars a share for Esmark, and could need 683 million dollars to buy all issued shares. The whole acquisition, including debt and costs, could rise to 1.2 billion dollars.
