The volume of gold futures trading on RTS FORTS reached a new record high on August 14, the RTS exchange said. A total of 17,242 contracts were traded in 394 transactions on August 14. The previous record for the number of transactions was 338 deals made on August 9, while the previous record for volume was set on July 12, when 14,589 contracts totaling over 253.4 million rubles changed hands.
