Petropavlovsk unveils mining, metallurgical cluster project at economic forum

Petropavlovsk plc unveiled a project to set an iron ore mining and metallurgical cluster up in the Amur region at the Baikal Economic Forum on September 6, an Interfax correspondent reports from the forum. "The creation of joint industrial clusters, and scientific and technical cooperation in various branches with the development of mutually beneficial exports [opens up] new opportunities in partnership [between Russia and China]," Pavel Maslovsky, chairman of Petropavlovsk's board of directors, said at the forum which is focusing on new opportunities in Russian-Chinese partnership.
