Evraz raises 404 mln dollars from Nordea Bank

Russian steel major Evraz Group subsidiaries have raised 404 million dollars from Nordea Bank, a company statement says. The money must be repaid in June 2014. The proceeds were used to repay 357 million dollars in debt to Nordea Bank that was to come due in the fourth quarter of 2010 and other short-term debt, the statement says. "This transaction is in line with Evraz's policy of substituting the short-term debt with longer-term maturities," it says.
