JEROOYALTYN REIMBURSES OXUS COLD COSTS

(Interfax)--CJSC JerooyAltyn, the current license holder to the Jerooy gold deposit in Kyr-gyzstan, has reimbursed costs incurred by the project's previous investor Oxus Gold plc, JerooyAltyn PR specialist Natalya Krek told Interfax on June 18. Oxus Gold, which had held the Jerooy license since 2000, has taken Kyrgyzstan to an international tribunal over the withdrawal of that license in 2005. "As a gesture of good will, JerooyAltyn has covered all of the Kyrgyz government's costs related to the reimbursement," Krek said.
