Alrosa earns 8.8 bin rubles RAS net profits, 96.8 bln rubles sales revenues in 2010

Alrosa, Russia's diamond monopoly, ended 2010 with net profits of 8.777 billion rubles and sales revenues of 96.820 billion rubles as calculated to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said. Last year's net profits topped the company's plan by 50%, and were up 270% from 2009, the press release says. Alrosa sales revenues in 2009 came to 53.849 billion rubles, so that figure was up 50% in 2010, as well.
