Mechel gets 3-yr extension on 1-bln dollars Gazprombank loan

Mechcl has received a three-year extension on a 1-billion dollars Gazprom-bank credit facility, the coal and steel group said in a statement. Gazprombank opened credit lines totaling 1 billion dollars for Mechel Mining's subsidiaries in February 2009. The credit facilities provided were used to finance the group's current operations which allowed it to repay a part of its short-term debt.
