FRENCH, JAPANESE BANKS TO ARRANGE 525 MLN dollars LOAN FOR EVRAZ

A 525 million dollars loan for top Russian steelmaker Evraz Group will be arranged by BNP Paribas SA, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd., Natexis Banques Populaires and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp., Bloomberg reported on July 21. The loan will be split into a one-year tranche of 300 million dollars and a five-year tranche of 225 million dollars, extended at rates of respectively Libor + 85 basis points and Libor +125 basis points.
