Water metabolism of corn plants with various cooling times

In the leaves of young corn pants in the phase of two or three true leaves, the content of total water, its active supply by the roots, transpiration, and the water potential lowered under conditions of cooling for 1-24 h at 0-2 deg C. The change inthe water metabolism parameters grew with an increasing time of cooling.
