Moody's has changed the outlook on the Baa3 foreign currency issuer rating for Kazakhstan's atomic energy and uranium concern Kaza-tomprom from negative to stable, the rating agency said in a December 22 statement. "The rating action reflects the growing track record of the stable operating performance and strong credit metrics even under challenging market conditions. The change in oudook from negative to stable incorporates Moody's view that under the current regulatory regime, the Company would continue to make good progress towards the completion of the investment program while retaining a conservative financial policy.
