UKRAINE CUTS TITANIUM, MANGANESE ORE EXPORT IN 4 MTHS

Ukraine cut exports of ores and concentrates containing titanium 16.6 percent year-on-year in January-April to 71,710 tonnes, the State Statistics Committee said. The exports fell 14.2 percent in value to 17.345 million dollars. The ore and concentrate was shipped to Kazakhstan (11,303 tonnes or 2.091 million dollars), Russia (3,798 tonnes or 2,207 million dollars), Czech Republic (26,088 tonnes, 3.932 million dollars), Netherlands (2,208 tonnes, 1.25 million dollars), United States (9,971 tonnes, 4.22 million dollars) and Canada (15,111 tonnes, 1,919 million dollars). Ukrainian manganese ore and concentrate exports, all to Russia, plummeted 97.6 percent year-on-year in the four months to 343 tonnes and 96.6 percent to 38,600 dollars.
