KEMEROVO. (Interfax)--The Kemerovo-based Kuzbass Fuel Company (KTK) has commissioned the Vinogradovsky-2 strip mine, which is expected to be producing 5 million tonnes of coal per year by 2011. KTK told Interfax that the mine cost more than 1.5 billion rubles to build and equip. It contains 175 million tonnes of D-grade coal and could be in a position to produce 1.5 million tonnes annually in less than a year.
