The Belon coal group could see sales to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) plummet to 500 million dollars this year from just over 1 billion dollars in 2008, the company said in materials. A company source told Interfax that revenue could drop 40%. Belon plans to unveil its consolidated earnings report late August-early September. OJSC Belon, the group's parent company, said it closed the first half of 2009 with net losses of 932 million rubles to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) compared with profit a year previously.
