ONEXIM SETTING UP MMC INTERCEO ON CORE OF EXPLORATION ASSETS

Mikhail Prokhorov's On-exim Group is setting up a new company called MMC Intergeo on the core of the geological exploration assets it acquired from Interros as part of an asset split with KM Invest, the group said in a statement issued July 24. Maxim Finsky, a deputy general director and executive board member at MMC Norilsk Nickel, will become the general director of MMC Intergeo after all the necessary procedures have been completed. In addition to Finsky, the Intergeo management team will be comprised of Michael Page, director of Norilsk Nickel's geological exploration department, Grigory Potapov, head of the company's investment policy department and new mining projects, and Alexander Sekhin, director of projects for the development of geological exploration.
