TTCET Proteus - a range of low-cost satellite earth station products

The rapid growth in satellite projects has resulted in price reductions in all areas including the ground segment. The ground segment consists of a control centre and data processing centre together with associated telemetry and remote controlfacilities. The major cost items are now the buildings themselves and the radio communication systems. A number of SMEs, originally brought together by CNES, have developed the Proteus range of ground stations to meet the new technological and commercialrequirements of the market.
