EVRAZ AND MCC TO FORM JV FOR CAPE LAMBERT IRON ORE PROJECT

Russia's Evraz Group and China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) signed an agreement on July 31 for the joint development of the Cape Lambert iron ore field, the Russian company said in a statement. The shareholder's in Australia's Cape Lambert Iron Ore Ltd, at an extraordinary meeting held on July 28, approved the sale of an iron ore product to MCC Mining (a MCC subsidiary) for around 393 million dollars.
