KYRGYZSTAN'S JEROOY GOLD DEPOSIT FACILITIES ASSESSED AS 20 PERCENT COMPLETE

Experts from Russia's State Nonferrous Metals Research Institute (Gintsvetmet) have completed an assessment of the facilities built for the development of the Jerooy gold deposit in Kyrgyzstan and the costs actually carried by Britain's Oxus Gold, the head of foreign economic relations at mining company Kyrgyzaltyn, Georgy Glukhov told Interfax on July 11. The Russian experts were invited by Kyrgyzaltyn, Oxus' partner in Talas Gold Mining Company, the joint venture that was implementing the Jerooy project, Glukhov said.
