Mexican ceramic industry raises its level of quality

With an installed capacity at the end of 2007 of 230.7 million square metres of ceramic tiles and 28 million pieces of sanitaryware, Mexico is one of the largest ceramic manufacturing countries. Four large groups (Porcelanite-Lamosa, Vitromex, Interceramic and Dai-Tile) account for 85% of national tile production and seven groups the same percentage of sanitaryware production.
