The author has chosen a familiar, well-worn theme but I feel that the result is rather better than the average 'how-to-do-it' handbook. This is because it succeeds as a simple instruction manual, through its many pages of excel-lent, sequential illustrations supported by extremely clear and descriptive text. The high quality of the photographs and their accompanying captions is consistent throughout so that anyone struggling to master or refine their techniques for working on potter's wheel will find this an invaluable source for reference. The author explains exactly what she offers in the title, no more no Less.
